Uzbekistan mobile operator Ucell has expanded the coverage of its GSM, 3G and LTE networks. Five LTE base stations, 21 3G base stations and two GSM base stations were deployed in February.
Four new LTE base stations were built in the city of Samarkand, and one base station was deployed in the settlement of Bolizogon in the Taylak municipality in the Samarkand region. New 3G base stations were built mostly in the Samarkand region, and new GSM base stations were deployed in the Tashkent and Dzhizak regions.
