A mobile network giant has announced it is bringing 4G to part of the North-east.
O2 has said it will improve the 2G and 3G network in Aberchirder while bringing 4G to the area.
Work is scheduled to start on Monday with residents expected to see an improved service in the following weeks.
Derek McManus, chief operating officer, Telefonica UK, which owns O2, said: “I’m delighted that O2 customers in Aberchirder will soon be able to experience faster mobile internet making everything easier when using their phone or tablet.”
