Argentina's telecommunications regulator Enacom has signed a framework agreement with state-owned communications operator Arsat to provide mutual technical assistance in the preparation or implementation of individual or joint projects. Under the terms of the two-year deal, the partners will also work together in the provision of ICT services and devices, maintenance, monitoring and staff training. Earlier this year, Enacom and Arsat signed an agreement to tap universal service funds to extend the country’s Federal Fibre Optic Network (Refefo).
