Oman's operator Omantel has signed an agreement with Microsoft to enhance ICT service capabilities in the areas of education, health care, digital smart home and business services. The MoU on developing the Internet of Things aligns with the operator's new 3.0 transformation strategy. Omantel CEO Talal Said al Mamari said the agreement with Microsoft comes as a part of objective to deploy new digital smart home, innovative business and eGovernment services throughout 2016 and beyond.
