Ooredoo has introduced two new offers with free WhatsApp for everyone. Mousbak or Shababiah prepaid customers can now benefit from the great value with More Credit recharge, which gives up to 25% extra credit, at no extra charge, and up to 25 days free WhatsApp. Newcomers to Ooredoo can also get outstanding value with the new Mousbak Welcome Pack providing six months free WhatsApp along with RO 2 free credit.

Starting 4 April and available for the next three months, More Credit Recharge customers who purchase RO2 will receive RO2.2 in credit, valid for ten days, with three days free WhatsApp. Those opting for the RO5 More Credit Recharge will receive RO6 credit valid for 20 days, with free WhatsApp for ten days. For those getting the More Credit Recharge of RO10, RO12.5 credit will be given, valid for 25 days along with free WhatsApp for the same period. To enjoy this great offer, More Credit recharge customers can opt in for free by dialling *141*112#.
New Ooredoo customers can take advantage of the fantastic introductory offer when they buy their Ooredoo Mousbak Welcome pack. After activating the pack they should dial *141*116# to opt in to the free WhatsApp service. In order to keep the free WhatsApp activated for the full six months, credit should be recharged by a minimum of RO1 every month.
Customers should note that while the free WhatsApp has a generous maximum usage limit of 250MB per recharge, once this quota has been used usual data tariffs will be applied. Additionally, any external link sent through WhatsApp will be charged according to the customer’s active 3G/4G plan or WiFi. The free WhatsApp offer is strictly for use in Oman and customers using WhatsApp while travelling will be charged at normal roaming rates.
