Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has organized exclusive session for its employees on new emerging trends in Disruptive Technology. The session was conducted by Jason Pontin, Editor-in-Chief and the publisher of MIT Technology Review.
Disruptive Technology is an innovation that disrupts an existing market, improve a product or service in ways that market does not expect, typically by reducing cost, increasing revenue, transforming business processes and developing new customer expectations. Mr. Jason shared 10 breakthrough technologies of 2015 and some of the areas in which the disruptive technology has played a significant role include Internet of Things, Big Data, Mobile Internet, Smart Phones, Social Networking and Cloud Computing.
The session equipped PTCL employees and organization as a whole to stay abreast with the ground breaking technological insights and sustain the technological leadership of PTCL through integration of latest Disruptive Technology Trends.

The session was attended by senior PTCL management and employees, which ended with an interactive question-answer session.
