For the fifth consecutive year, Ooredoo was recognised as one of the Sultanate’s Top 20 performing companies by Oman Economic Review, Oman’s leading economic and business publication. Accepting the accolade on behalf of the company was Chief Financial Officer, Jorgen Latte who joined representatives from leading corporations listed on the Muscat Securities Market (MSM).
The recognition was based on financial indicators including growth of profit, earnings per share and share price growth. The last twelve months have seen Ooredoo’s numbers grow substantially, driven by an increase in both mobile and fixed data, as well as international voice revenue. The leading telecommunications company also launched a series of inspiring new offers and services into the market, all of which have been generating significant interest and uptake. Supporting Ooredoo’s strategy of service innovation, quality and reach, the company also achieved key milestones in its network modernisation programme, including increased radio capacity and core network enhancements; all of which has been validated by its strong performance results across the board.
