AMC Networks International (AMCNI) has inked a deal with Orange to launch its Sundance Channel Global on the telco's fibre and satellite TV platforms in France.
Sundance Channel broadcasts exclusive independent feature films and documentaries as well as original drama series. In France, the channel also broadcasts internationally acclaimed original drama series such as Rectify, The Red Road, The Walking Dead and Mad Men, among others. It launched on 8 October as part of Orange's Cinema and Series TV package as a 24/7 linear channel.
