The field efforts of the teams from the Communications, Space, and Technology Commission continue in the Two Holy Mosques to ensure service quality and continuity, facilitate the visitor’s digital journey, and contribute to enhancing the Kingdom’s honorable image in serving the Two Holy Mosques.
The commission’s teams began their duties in the Two Holy Mosques before the start of Ramadan, in addition to their presence at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah. Their tasks include inspecting the sales outlets of telecommunications service providers, monitoring network performance, and assessing coverage quality at all stages of the visitor’s digital journey. The commission also deploys mobile frequency spectrum monitoring stations in the Two Holy Mosques to track and analyze radio signals, identifying any unauthorized usage or interference that may affect wireless communication quality.
