Comcast has upgraded Xfinity Internet speeds for more than 20 million customers at no additional cost. Xfinity Internet tiers, including NOW branded prepaid products, now feature 50 to 100 percent faster upload speeds, making it easier to upload large files and post videos quickly. Most tiers will also experience increased download speeds.
In addition to speed upgrades, new and existing Xfinity Internet customers subscribing to a 400 Mbps or faster plan can receive a free Unlimited line on Xfinity Mobile for a year. With WiFi PowerBoost, Xfinity Mobile and Comcast Business Mobile customers enjoy WiFi speeds up to 1 Gbps, regardless of their Internet speed tier, at home or on the go.
These speed enhancements are powered by Comcast’s fiber-based network, built to deliver an exceptional Internet experience to more than 64 million homes and businesses. Comcast has invested over $80 billion in the past decade to develop the nation’s largest converged wireless and wireline network, supporting over 23 million Xfinity WiFi hotspots.
