NPRA launches services through MyGov

The Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) has announced the availability of its services through the unified MyGov app, in line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and launched by General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Ministerial Committee for Information and Communication Technology (MCICT).

Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs, emphasised that making services available through MyGov is a significant step in facilitating access for citizens and residents to government services. He explained that in its initial phase, the application provides several NPRA services, including passport and residency display services.

In collaboration with the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA), more NPRA e-services will be integrated into MyGov to enhance accessibility and improve user experience.

Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman noted that the application serves as a unified platform that offers access to various services and features, including the display of official government documents such as identity cards, passports, and birth certificates, as well as government notifications and other services.

The MyGov app is an innovative digital initiative providing secure, unified access to multiple government services. It is integrated with the upgraded eKey 2.0 system, offering a seamless and secure digital experience for all users. In its first phase, the application includes 41 government services from nine entities, contributing to easier service access for citizens and residents.

Citizens and residents interested in accessing government services quickly and securely can download the "MyGov" app from the eGovernment App Store at bahrain.bh/apps. Further information and inquiries about the app can be obtained by contacting the Government Services Contact Centre at 80008001. Suggestions and feedback can also be submitted via the National Suggestions and Complaints System, "Tawasul," or the "Tawasul" app.
