Nepal Telecom to provide free Wi-Fi at all airports across Nepal

Nepal Telecom has signed an agreement with the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) to provide free Wi-Fi internet service at all airports in the country. The agreement was finalized by Binita Shrestha, Chief Commercial Officer of Nepal Telecom, and Jagannath Niraula, Deputy Director General of CAAN.

The service will first be available at Tribhuvan International Airport, with free Wi-Fi provided in the arrival and departure halls for both international and domestic terminals. The initiative will be expanded to other airports across the country in phases. CAAN will support the project by providing the necessary locations for equipment setup and management of the Wi-Fi network. Additionally, mobile charging stations will be provided for passengers, and Nepal Telecom will establish an information and assistance room to enhance passenger convenience.

With 34 airports currently operating in Nepal, this agreement will significantly improve connectivity and services for travelers across the nation.
