According to the company, this year it is planned to install approximately 300 new 5G base stations throughout Latvia. This means that by the end of the year, more than 1,000 5G base stations will be operating in the Tele2 network.

We are maintaining the investment volume at a high level, similar to last year, and the investment goal is also unchanged. Our priority is the development of the mobile communications network throughout the territory of Latvia, and by the end of the year we plan to provide 5G network coverage to more than 90% of the territory of Latvia. We will direct some of the investments to the development of new services, as well as invest in processes to ensure high-quality customer service.
