VEON Ltd., a global digital operator, has announced the launch of RYZE, a new digital lifestyle app introduced by its Bangladesh-based subsidiary, Banglalink. Tailored to engage Bangladesh’s emerging generation, RYZE features AI-powered personalization, offering a comprehensive suite of services designed to cater to the unique digital needs of young Bangladeshis.
Bangladesh’s population is predominantly young, with over 48% of the 175 million people under the age of 25, according to the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics. Recognizing the untapped potential of this demographic, Banglalink has developed RYZE to provide a digital lifestyle package that meets the interests and needs of the youth, encompassing skill development, personalized entertainment, and rewards.
RYZE is available to mobile users across any network and offers a prepaid package that uses AI recommendation tools to deliver highly personalized services. The app provides resources for skill development, tailored entertainment packages, and exclusive loyalty and rewards programs.
Erik Aas, CEO of Banglalink, stated, “RYZE exemplifies our commitment to empowering the young communities we serve with seamless digital solutions. By integrating AI-driven features, RYZE provides a comprehensive lifestyle experience, from skill development to entertainment, ensuring it resonates with the digital-first generation. At Banglalink, we are proud to champion digital inclusion and lay the foundations for digital-led economic growth.”
The launch of RYZE adds to the growing list of VEON’s digital-first lifestyle apps, including ROX in Pakistan, IZI in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, and OQ in Uzbekistan. These apps are a key part of VEON’s strategy to deliver online services across frontier markets.
