Viettel AI partners with Presight to advance artificial intelligence development

Presight, the UAE’s premier big data analytics company powered by generative AI, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Viettel AI, a leading artificial intelligence research center in Vietnam and a member of Viettel Group. This agreement is aimed at fostering cooperation between the two organizations to advance the development of Applied AI and digital transformation initiatives. The MoU was officially signed in Abu Dhabi by Thomas Pramotedham, CEO of Presight, and Nguyen Manh Quy, CEO of Viettel AI.

The signing ceremony took place in Dubai during a working session with businesses from both countries, led by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

Under the terms of the agreement, Presight and Viettel AI will collaborate to leverage technology, data, and innovative solutions to address challenges in transportation, safety, and environmental sustainability. Key focus areas for collaboration include digital development initiatives, enterprise and generative AI development, tailored big data analytics solutions, deployment of AI-powered technologies for enterprises and smart cities, and workforce collaboration in AI.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh noted that the UAE and Vietnam are increasingly strengthening their connections through telecommunications and fiber optic cables, with the potential for closer ties in the field of artificial intelligence.

Thomas Pramotedham, CEO of Presight, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We are thrilled to begin this strategic collaboration with Viettel AI. By combining our expertise in Applied AI, we aim to drive meaningful advancements in digital transformation initiatives. Viettel AI’s strengths in data analytics and natural language processing make this partnership a significant opportunity to contribute to Vietnam’s digital transformation journey.”

Nguyen Manh Quy, CEO of Viettel AI, highlighted the capabilities of his organization, stating, “With Viettel AI’s research strengths in AI, Big Data, Robotics, and Digital Twin technologies, along with our extensive experience in deploying national AI platforms, we believe that together with Presight, we can achieve breakthroughs in artificial intelligence. Specifically, we will focus on developing products and services that utilize native languages to enhance user experiences in both countries.”

As a leading technology enterprise in Vietnam, Viettel Group boasts the largest data center infrastructure in the country. The group is also at the forefront of developing Vietnamese language models and has deployed various AI products, including virtual assistants for court and civil service, and specialized task processing for financial institutions. Viettel’s virtual assistants are effectively utilized across ministries, local governments, and financial enterprises.
