Orange Tunisia supports young students of generation Z through the PFE Challenge

Orange Tunisia is proud to announce the success of the first edition of the PFE Challenge (Projet de Fin d'Etudes), an emblematic initiative designed to stimulate creativity and innovation among young students of generation Z. This competition is part of Orange Tunisia's ongoing commitment to supporting and developing the skills of young Tunisian talents.

The PFE interns' journey thus began at the end of 2023 with the publication of the PFE book, a collection of innovative and ambitious projects, distributed on LinkedIn and to Orange Tunisia's partner universities. Among the 1,742 applications received, 110 interns were selected based on their potential and creativity.

In order to facilitate and optimize the adaptation of the selected interns, Welcome Day sessions were organized throughout the period of their integration, offering them the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the Orange Tunisia environment. In April 2024, the interns followed a soft skills bootcamp, structured around three main axes: interpersonal communication, preparation of the PFE pitch and job interview simulations.

The PFE Challenge began with a phase where each intern had the opportunity to put into practice the skills acquired during the bootcamp, by trying to convince several committees composed of experts. These committees had the difficult task of designating the most promising and innovative projects, to participate in the final phase.

During the closing ceremony, the students of the seven PFE finally selected pitched and defended their ideas in front of an audience composed of the General Manager, members of the COMEX, experts and employees of Orange Tunisia as well as their fellow interns. This ceremony was an opportunity not only to congratulate all the interns but also to designate the three winners who distinguished themselves by the quality of their innovative projects.

Habib Latrach, Human Resources Director of Orange Tunisia , said: “ Through this first edition of the PFE Challenge, we have not only celebrated the creativity and innovation of our talented young students, but we have also reaffirmed our commitment to the new generation Z. We are proud to support and shape the leaders of tomorrow by offering unique development opportunities .”

Building on the success of this first edition, Orange Tunisia plans to renew this initiative in order to continue to support and assist young students by equipping them with the skills necessary to succeed in professional life, thus actively contributing to the social and economic progress of Tunisia.
