SpaceX launched to orbit a Falcon 9 rocket that contained Turksat 6A, Turkey’s first domestically produced communications satellite.
The rocket lifted off from the Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, United States.
According to a statement by Turkish transport and infrastructure minister, Abdulkadir Uraloglu, Turksat 6A will widen the country’s satellite coverage and meet the television broadcasting needs.
