This innovative service, a first in the Kingdom, was introduced after receiving the necessary license from the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC).
The EKYC service allows customers to seamlessly and securely subscribe and authenticate prepaid mobile lines using approved identity documents or through the “SANAD” application, Jordan’s official gateway to digital government services and digital identity. Subscribers can verify their identity and complete the activation process remotely, eliminating the need for physical visits to shops or points of sale. Orange Jordan has already started implementing this service at multiple points of sale.
