Viaplay has launched a new ad-supported tier for its streaming service in the Nordics.
Films & Series with Advertising is initially only available in the Danish market and costs DKr 99 per month, a discount of DKr 50 on the standard Film & Series tier.
The new tier draws so the same film and series library and children’s content, which remains ad free. Sport is not available in the tier, but there is a mini-bouquet of 11 basic channels including the Danish public broadcaster DR, TV2 and TV3.
It’s anticipated the Advertising tier will later be rolled out elsewhere in the region.
