SAMENA Telecommunications Council is supporting the 14th Global Mobile Broadband Forum (MBBF), hosted by the Council’s valued member, Huawei Technologies. The 14th MBBF will be held from October 10 to 11 at the JAFZA One Convention Center, Jebel Ali, Dubai – UAE.

As an industry representative body for the region’s ICT private sector and as a sector-development partner to regional governments, policymakers and regulators, SAMENA Council deems MBBF 2023 in Dubai to be an important ICT industry event, focused on the mobile and adjacent vertical ecosystems in their 5G endeavors and successes; in achieving ecosystem maturity and accelerating 5.5G commercialization, especially in the GCC region.

Building on SAMENA Council’s messages over the years, especially with respect to fostering 5G and cross-sector collaboration, and building adjacent vertical ecosystems to reconnect, rebuild, and reimagine a fully-connected, intelligent world powered by 5G/5.5G, the MBBF 2023 conference will corroborate the need to work together in new ways and will focus on maximizing the potential of 5G investments, including through meaningful use-cases and applications that can advance the mobile future, and accelerate technology evolution from 5G to 5.5G and beyond.
