Vodafone Business will invest €35m in information and communications technology (ICT) solutions in Ireland over the next four years in a move that is set to create 120 new jobs.
Around €16m will be invested in skills and resources this year, while Vodafone Business will also add 70 of the 120 planned new jobs in 2024.
This roles include positions in digital operations, digital sales, software as a service (Saas) and IoT solutions and are in addition to the 40 graduate roles currently being filled across the organisation.
The new investment will expand a number of existing ICT capabilities including SaaS, cybersecurity, unified communications and managed services.
More than 7,000 businesses across Ireland have availed of digital advice and support from Vodafone’s V-Hub knowledge centre and one-to-one advisory service, the network operator said.

Enterprise, Trade and Employment Minister Simon Coveney welcome the announcement.
“Digitisation of all businesses is a national priority, and particularly a focus for SMEs where there is huge opportunity for growth,” he said.
Vodafone has 2.3 million customers in Ireland and employs over 2,000 people directly and indirectly across the country.
For business customers, it provides solutions, such as voice messaging, data and fixed communications to companies of all sizes.
It also provides cloud-based platforms and professional ICT support.
The organisation has invested €300m over the past three years in its network and has committed a further €500m.
