Zain signs strategic partnership with ktech

Zain signed a strategic partnership with the Kuwait Technical College (ktech) to support student, academic, cultural, and sports activities held throughout the current academic year. The step affirms the company’s ongoing support to education and youth empowerment in the local community.

The partnership was signed at Zain’s headquarters in Shuwaikh, attended by ktech Chairman of the Board of Trustees Meshari Ayman Bodai, Zain Kuwait Chief Corporate Affairs and Relations Officer Waleed Al Khashti, ktech Vice President Abdulrahman Al Ajeel, and team members from both partners.

Through this partnership, Zain supports a wide variety of programs, activities, and initiatives organized by ktech during the current academic year, including the annual student carnivals, where exciting entertainment and interactive segments are held for students. Zain also supports thrilling sports competitions that promote the spirit of teamwork and encourage being active, including the Ramadan Futsal Tournament for male students, the Ramadan Volleyball Tournament for female students, and more.

Zain is always eager to take an active part in supporting education and engaging with students and young people by partnering with schools, universities, and colleges from both the public and private sectors. The company will spare no efforts to offer its support and encouragement to any entity that embraces the youth and contributes to the further progress of the community.

The Kuwait Technical College was founded under Amiri Decree 303 in 2005 to provide opportunities for students who are more oriented toward practical education. Ktech is licensed by Kuwait’s Ministry of Higher Education and the General Secretariat of Private Universities Council and offers recognized two-year Diploma programs. Its vocational education is designed to prepare students to enter the market upon graduation by providing practical training to develop specific industry skills.
