This pioneering move establishes MASMOVIL as a leader in the provision of 5G services, emphasizing their commitment to technological advancement in Spain.
Paragon: A Game Changer for 5G Services
Paragon, the new platform, is tailored for MASMOVIL's 5G enterprise customers. It offers on-demand network segmentation and slicing, ensuring Quality of Service (QoS). The platform provides access to a myriad of applications and API services, catering to the diverse needs of businesses.
Distinguished for its support of applications deployment in Multi Access Edge Computing (MEC) environments and on leading public clouds like Azure and AWS, Paragon presents an integrated approach. This approach aims at accelerating the pace of innovation and digitalization, reducing the time to market, and cutting costs.
MASMOVIL's 5G Network: A Leap Forward
The 5G network of MASMOVIL promises significant advancements in latency and speed, even for 4G and public cloud services. The deployment of Paragon positions MASMOVIL as the most technologically advanced Spanish operator in 5G solutions. It enables Spanish business users and public bodies to securely deploy applications in edge servers and public clouds, thereby improving latency and speed.
First Client: The Galician Operator R
The new platform will be utilized by clients of MASMOVIL, starting with the Galician operator R in partnership with the City Council of Vilagarcía de Arousa, Pontevedra. This collaboration aims to facilitate online broadcasting of sporting events using MASMOVIL's 5G and edge network, thereby showcasing the potential of the new 5G network.
With the introduction of the Paragon applications marketplace, MASMOVIL plans to work with enterprise customers to develop and integrate the apps they need onto the platform. The CEO of Digital InfraCo, the Singtel unit, expressed their commitment to partnering with MASMOVIL and other leading operators globally to expand Paragon’s reach to more diverse markets.
