Telemach expands 10 Giga network

The Croatian operator Telemach has introduced 10 Giga services in the country’s five largest cities and is now rolling them out in smaller locations.

According to the company, they already include Vinkovci, Cakovec, Zapresic and Karlovac, and soon also Sisak. In addition, the construction of a fibre network in Vukovar is planned for later this year.

Telemach adds that by the end of 2027 it plans to cover a third of Croatia, i.e.500,000 households, with its 10 Giga network.

Commenting on the rollout, Danijela Bistricki Morovic, a member of the management board and chief technical officer of Telemach Croatia, said: “Optics is the basis for fast and reliable digital connectivity and has a strong impact on the quality of service provision in various economic sectors, and the increasingly intensive use of technology in everyday life requires an infrastructure that will improve the way we live and work. This is exactly what the 10 Giga network brings, which ensures top performance, and brings the experience of streaming, online games, working in the cloud and numerous other services to a new, advanced level. With the intention of truly putting technology at the service of the user and making gigabit internet as accessible as possible to a wider range of users, at Telemach we provide a simple and transparent offer that provides top-notch service on favourable terms”.
