Blue Ant Media has expanded its partnership with Samsung TV Plus in a multi-year content deal that includes the launch of three FAST channels and the introduction of hundreds of hours of factual content. The FAST channels are HauntTV, Love Pets and Homeful.
Blue Ant Media is the international production studio, rights business and channel operator. The FAST and AVOD platform Samsung TV Plus currently carries its wildlife and nature channel, ‘Love Nature’, in the U.S. and its crime-focused channel, ‘Crimetime’, in Canada.
This expansion, announced at MIPCOM this week, covers:
HauntTV, the paranormal-themed channel, is made available in the U.S. This is already available on Samsung TV Plus in Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
Love Pets, the pet-focused channel, has launched in the UK, the Netherlands and Nordic countries including Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
Homeful, the renovation and design-focused channel, is made available to Samsung TV Plus users in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and Brazil.
The factual content made available for on-demand viewing covers multiple genres including crime, paranormal, lifestyle and natural history.
