Orange Poland says it has now covered more than 400,000 houses and 3,000 schools under the government and EU-subsidised Operational Programme Digital Poland (Programu Operacyjnego Polska Cyfrowa, POPC).
The firm says it has deployed 25,164km of fibre networks under the scheme, which reaches 4,200 towns. The POPC rollouts come on top of Orange’s other fibre deployments, where it says it has invested over PLN4 billion (USD912 million) of its own funds since 2015.
