Kyrgyz fixed broadband operator Saima Telecom has trebled its peak fiber internet download speed to 300Mbps, available as a standalone service for KGS2,880 (USD32.70) per month or in bundles with interactive TV including over 200 channels for KGS2,980 a month, plus a one-off KGS2,000 startup fee.
Furthermore, Saima announced on its website the availability of the ‘Premier home theatre’ video service as an add-on option for its broadband subscribers, costing KGS100 per month on a pre-paid basis, giving access to movies, series and other TV shows without ads.
TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database notes that Saima Telecom has offered ‘Saima+O!TV’ bundles since October 2020, including fibre internet alongside the ‘O!TV’ OTT/Android set-top box-based service provided by Nur Telecom (O!) with over 200 TV channels and on-demand content.
