Amdocs announces customer care deals in Asia and Africa

Amdocs, a provider of software and services to communications and media companies, has been busy lately, with announcements in the past few days of major deals in South Africa, Indonesia and the Philippines.

Earlier this year, Melon Digital, a digitally led mobile virtual network enabler (MVNE) based in South Africa, launched its global MVNE platform using Amdocs’ Digital Brands Suite as a Service to provide customer care and monetization capabilities. Now it has selected Amdocs’ eSIM Cloud platform, which, integrated with the Digital Brands Suite as a Service solution, will enable Melon Digital to provide consumers with seamless digital experiences on smartphones, smartwatches, and other connected devices through effortless and convenient eSIM adoption.

Meanwhile Globe, a leading service provider in the Philippines, has selected Amdocs Data Intelligence Managed Services to manage its OTS data lake platform, enabling the operator to deliver improved customer and employee experience while driving business growth, operational efficiencies and product innovation.

The multi-year managed services engagement will says Amdocs, provide Globe with business-driven operations; the ability to leverage worldwide best practices and experience, automation and self-heal solutions; and quality and accurate business data available at the right time that is critical for business insights and decision-making.

Finally there’s Amdocs' support for the deployment at Telkomsel, a leading service provider in Indonesia, of a next-generation IoT connectivity management platform, enabling Telkomsel to expand its range of IoT offerings for both consumer and enterprise customers.

Under the project, Amdocs provided system integration services to implement software specialist MAVOCO’s IoT Connectivity Management Platform, empowering Telkomsel with business agility and enhanced operational efficiency to introduce innovative offerings with faster time to market. This will allow the service provider to better accommodate the specific needs of enterprise customers.
