Netflix has replaced the Downloads tab on its mobile app with a new feature designed to make it easier to discover and play new movies, series and other content.
My Netflix provides an overview of downloads made by subscribers with reminders of past viewing and newly released episodes; reminders that have been set and shows that have been half-watched.
“The more you interact with and tell Netflix what you like, such as saving more action-thrillers like Extraction 2 to My List or giving a thumbs up to every season of Bridgerton, the more you’ll see on the My Netflix tab,” explained Product Manager Edith Chao in a blog post on Monday.
My Netflix is already available on Apple’s iOS and will be released on Android in early August.
