Airtel Uganda has launched VoLTE technology, enabling customers to make voice calls on its 4G network.
This is Uganda’s second VoLTE launch, with Smile Communications having implemented the technology back in 2016.
A report from Techjaja cites Airtel Uganda Managing Director Manoj Murali as saying: ‘VoLTE is an innovation that will allow our customers to make and receive high-quality voice calls without any disruption to their 4G browsing experiences.’
