Italy’s sports streaming service DAZN Italia has revealed it has inked an strategic agreement with ticketing provider Vivaticket to add new features that will allow fans to purchase football tickets directly from the app.
The integration of Vivaticket and DAZN will take place in stages. During the launch phase, fans will be able to buy tickets on a dedicated website, which is expected to be complete in the upcoming weeks.
After the initial launch phase, a Vivaticket store will be integrated into the DAZN app where fans can make purchases via a personalised user account.
Tickets to football matches will include FC Internazionale, SS Lazio, ACF Fiorentina, Bologna FC and Torino FC.
The sport streaming service said the agreement further strengthens DAZN’s ambition to become the main destination for sports enthusiasts through the creation of a single digital ecosystem of reference for sports lovers.
