Ukraine’s Starlight Media and Kyivstar have partnered with Microsoft to create a new data-centric product for working with analytics and digital content.
The solution allows for automated access to all YouTube analytics and reception of the most important data – audience, views, income, segmentation by channels, projects and geolocation – in one window and in real time. The project, developed and implemented together with specialists from Kyivstar and Microsoft, has been named Data Ware House. It is built on Microsoft Azure cloud technologies and already actively used by Starlight Media.
Commenting on the development, Vitaly Gusev, CCO of Starlight Media, board member responsible for Starlight Production and Digital, said: “We are starting to implement a new digital strategy, the basis of which will be content- and data-centric approaches. Data Ware House is an important example of an innovative solution that, thanks to high-quality work with data, will allow us to change our approaches both to assessing the potential of each content unit and to making decisions about creating new projects”.
The Starlight Media group’s channels already have more than 50 million subscribers on YouTube. Its digital division continues to work not only on their development, but also on the creation of new channels and projects, in particular, for Western and international audiences.
