Media registration is open for the opening and closing sessions of ITU's annual Global Symposium for Regulators, the world's pre-eminent gathering of the global information and communication technology (ICT) regulatory and policy-making community.
Under the theme “Regulation for a sustainable digital future," the Global Symposium for Regulators 2023 (GSR-23) will address novel regulatory approaches needed to drive universal and meaningful connectivity while ensuring trustworthy and resilient digital infrastructure. The meeting will also cover regulatory matters related to issues including online child and youth safety, digital accessibility, affordability, emergency telecommunications, green digital transformation, and the metaverse.

Media accreditation to GSR-23 is open to working members of the media with reporting responsibilities that are formally assigned by their outlet's editor or management. Please review ITU media accreditation guidelines before registering.
The Global Symposium for Regulators will be attended by the global regulatory community, policy-makers, industry bodies, academia, the private sector and ITU elected officials.
GSR-23 is hosted by the National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA) of Egypt and will be chaired by Mr Hossam El Gamal, President of NTRA. The full conference will be held from 5 to 8 June.
