The Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA) in Hong Kong has confirmed that it will auction spectrum licences in the 850MHz/900MHz and 2.3GHz bands next year.
The existing licences are due to expire on 31 May 2026 (850MHz/900MHz) and 29 March 2027 (2.3GHz). The new concessions will be valid for 15 years. Further details, including the spectrum utilisation fee (SUF), will be published nearer the auction date.
