Today, mobile phones are ubiquitous, with more than 5.4 billion people worldwide having at least one mobile plan. According to a study by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), the number of mobile phone subscribers has exceeded the number of inhabitants on the planet since 2016.
Indeed, in 2022 the world had more than 8.58 billion mobile subscriptions used, while the world population reached 7.95 billion in the middle of the year.
It should be noted that according to the World Bank , in 2021, in Algeria , the number of mobile phone subscriptions was 106 for every 100 inhabitants.
