The Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ) in the Sultanate of Oman has announced that it has started using Chat GPT service.
Mohammed bin Abdul Majeed Al-Houti, official in charge of the digital transformation programme at the authority, said: “The authority will allow its employees in various administrative divisions to use the chat service with the aim of improving the quality of services and increasing the ability to analyse data, and to provide integrated and innovative experiences for the challenges they face in their daily work, and to deal with investor requests in the areas that fall under the authority's supervision.”
He pointed out that this will enable employees through their desktop and mobile devices to obtain continuous and immediate support at any time, from anywhere, to carry out their tasks in a faster and more efficient manner.
He added that this service will improve the administrative processes within each department, especially for new employees and atypical projects, in order to collect immediate information about them, and from multiple sources that can be compared simmultaneously.
