Canal+ International-owned channel distributor Thema has launched a raft of new channels on its Le Bouquet Maghreb offering.
The distribution outfit is adding channels El Hiwar Ettounsi, Dizi, Sky News Arabia, Al Araby 2 And Syria TV to the bouquet targeted at Arabic-speaking diaspora audiences. Le Bouquet Maghreb is available via all major operators in France.
El Hiwar Ettounsi is described as one of the best-rated Tunisian channels, offering a range of TV series, TV games, talk shows and political and societal debate programmes.
DIzi, offering Turkish series, dubbed in Arabic, comes from Canal+ Group sister company SPI International and offers drama series based on passion, action, intrigue and romance.
Sky News Arabia is an Arabic news channel, jointly owned by Sky Group/Comcast and Abu Dhabi Media Investment Corporation, broadcasting news from the Arab and the international world.
Al Araby 2 is a channel dedicated to culture and entertainment in the Arab world.
Syria TV, not to be confused with a Syrian opposition channel of the same name based in Istanbul, is a Syrian state-funded satellite channel broadcasting internationally, with programming covering society, politics, information and entertainment.
