Dialog presents ‘METASTAGE

Dialog Axiata PLC, together with XL Axiata, hosted ‘METASTAGE’ the country’s first metaverse entertainment experience in the ‘Futureverse’, featuring performances by the renowned Sri Lankan sensations BnS, Umaria, and Indonesian idol Vicky Shu.

With a commitment towards providing our customers, and all Sri Lankans, with innovative and unique experiences that are not only entertaining but also push the boundaries of what is possible with technology, we believe that this event will be a milestone in the digital entertainment space in the country and the region."

Axiata Group Berhad, Dialog Axiata and XL Axiata, together with the technology support of Axiata Digital Labs developed the metaverse ecosystem in association with the GSMA Open Gateway, paving the way for the easy deployment of all forms of future-fit events in the metaverse. The capability of this platform will be further enhanced as part of the GSMA Open Gateway ecosystem and will also be showcased at the upcoming Mobile World Congress.
