The Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka (IBSL) has partnered eArrow, one of Sri Lanka’s top Web Base Enterprise solution providers, to digitize its overall Student Management Process.
With the eArrow student lifecycle management platform in place, IBSL’s entire student management process would become fully online. The application developed by eArrow helps to manage the end-to-end student life cycle of a Higher Educational and Academic environment from the registration and certification of a student. The platform includes fully digitized historical and current records of a student and a comprehensive operational management platform for the institution.
The agreement was signed and project was inaugurated at the IBSL Head office at IBSL Towers, No. 80A, Elwitigala Mawatha Colombo 08 on 5th December 2022. Mr. C.P.A. Karunatilake the Director General of IBSL & Mr. Adheesha Salpitikorala Director/ CEO & Mr. Rajeew Perera Director/ COO of eArrow Pvt Ltd were present at the occasion.
Sharing his thoughts, DG of IBSL, Mr. Karunatilake said, “this project is going to be an iconic milestone for IBSL as the institution is going to have an advance environment after implementation of the system.” He added that the relationship between eArrow and IBSL would extend to technological partnership as well as ongoing support and assistance.
Director/ CEO of eArrow Mr. Salpitikorala commented, “the engagement between eArrow and IBSL is also a momentous occasion for eArrow as the signing of this agreement falls on the day of 17th anniversary of our company. The Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka is a professional body that was set up in 1964 by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka in the name of Bankers’ Training Institute (Ceylon) and the institute was incorporated by a Parliament Act in 1979. The main purpose of IBSL is to provide an education in Banking and Finance for banking and non-banking personnel. The IBSL is managed by a Governing Board of 12 highest ranking banking sector professionals, where the Chairmanship and Vice-chairmanship are represented, respectively by a Deputy Governor and an Assistant Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
The full project is expected to Go-Live by March 2023.
