brsk’s full fiber network now passes 100,000 premises

British full fibre provider brsk has announced that its fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) network now covers more than 100,000 homes and businesses, up from 70,000 in September 2022, ISPreview reports. Commenting on the network deployment milestone, brsk CEO Giorgio Iovino said: ‘I’m extremely proud of the pace at which the brsk team and our partners have moved to get us to this milestone and for the ongoing drive to continue to connect customers to our network. Our focus has always been on building a sustainable business with a culture that is customer-centric and a brand that does what it says on the tin.’

The fibre provider – which is rolling out its infrastructure across parts of Greater Manchester, Lancashire, West Yorkshire and the West Midlands in England – has a longer-term goal of reaching more than one million premises by 2026. To help achieve its target, in September 2022 it revealed it had obtained additional funding of up to GBP178 million (USD213 million) to support the FTTP rollout; at that date it said it had secured a GBP103 million debt investment from funds managed by Ares Management Corporation’s Infrastructure Debt strategy, with this new funding able to be upsized to GBP178 million over time to support future growth.
