Liquid Telecom changes name to Liquid Intelligent Technologies

Liquid Telecom South Sudan has rebranded to Liquid Intelligent Technologies.

The company intends to link its network throughout the country to improve accessibility, even in remote areas from Juba City.

The company also intends to venture into several business services, including cloud, cyber security, and other technologies to add to its existing products and connectivity services.

Martin Mushambadope, the Group CEO, promised countrywide linkage of the company’s services.

Mushambadope said that changing the company’s name to Liquid Intelligent Technologies now positioned customers for applications that will utilise the African infrastructure.

“We are looking at South Sudan becoming the cutting edge and bringing the rest of the world to South Sudan while taking the country to the rest of the world,” he said.

According to him, the company is a pioneer in bringing terrestrial fibre connectivity to South Sudan, linking the country to its continent-spanning network across East Africa and beyond.

“This network is already providing affordable internet access to South Sudanese people, businesses, and government, and it is assisting the country in moving toward the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG),” he added.

He said for the last two years, the organization connected offices and homes at an unprecedented rate—including at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The CEO added that it also provided fibre connectivity to the capital city of Juba, connecting mobile operators, carriers, enterprises, and government organizations.

“Fast, reliable, pervasive, and affordable internet is a human right. This is a cornerstone of Liquid’s investment strategy in South Sudan with terrestrial fiber, satellite, and other wireless technologies,” says Mushambadope.

“With this rebrand, Liquid will create more recognition and awareness of our ability to provide connectivity and digital solutions for local businesses, empowering them to transform their public operations and compete on a bigger scale. “We are proud to partner with South Sudan in its ongoing digital transformation,” Martin stated.

Liquid Telecom is a pan-African technology company and a business of Cassava Technologies, reflecting its transformation into a one-stop-shop technology group for local businesses and consumers.

With an extensive fibre-broadband network covering over 100,000 km, Liquid has firmly established itself as the leading provider of pan-African digital infrastructure.
