Bahrain Network (BNET), the national telecommunications infrastructure company, has launched its new Interactive Map showcasing fibre coverage rates per blocks in the kingdom.
This will provide an accessible and user-friendly dashboard to all licensed operators in Bahrain.
BNET’s interactive map is currently in its beta-release stage, and it has proudly been developed in-house by a talented Bahraini team who supervised all stages of planning and implementing the interactive map using open-source tools and AWS cloud-native functionalities. This map enables licensed service operators to visualise and analyse fibre optic connectivity at the community level, where they can identify and target key improvement areas.
High level of transparency
Ammar Al Amer, Director Digital Operations of BNET, commented: “Through this initiative, BNET aims to ensure a high level of transparency in its relationship with its customers, the licensed service operators, to further drive aspirations towards achieving the company’s vision “A prosperous community where everyone is connected”, by supporting them to target and reach their customers effectively and efficiently.”
