A company’s journey along the road of digital transformation is not complete if it leaves itself open to cyber-attacks, said Shijas Mohidheen, Cyber Security Director at Hilal Computers.
He was speaking at an event held in partnership with Forcepoint GCC team to create awareness on cyber security and the data protection journey.
Mohidheen and the Forcepoint GCC team were leading a discussion on Forcepoint One as the protector of choice from cyber-attacks and how Forcepoint has simplified the security.
Forcepoint One is an all-in-one cloud-native security platform for protecting cloud and private apps. It gives users easy access to the apps a customer needs, without exposing the rest of the network to unwanted threats. Forcepoint One enforces consistent threat protection and DLP across cloud and private apps, to prevent malware and preserve sensitive data, said a statement.
Forcepoint confirmed the importance of data protection, especially with the new trends of how businesses operate, with remote workers, BYOD, and cloud adoption. As Bahrain is considered a leader in the region when it comes to cloud adoption, this puts more pressure on the companies to secure their data, network, and applications, it said.
“Forcepoint One provides an all-in-one, total solution for a secure web gateway, giving Cloud Access Secure Broker base ensuring zero trust network access for private web apps.”
Mohidheen said companies must be aware that the speed in which the metaverse is evolving is driven in part by increasing interconnectivity and smart automation which bring with them several challenges. This continuous reliance on technology puts both individuals and corporations at risk, from which the need for cyber security stems.
“Forcepoint is one of the best of many cyber security solutions offered by Hilal Computers. We are passionate about cyber protection and take the trusted role placed on us by our customers seriously. Therefore, each customer’s requirements need to be carefully evaluated for continuous updating of their security protection,” concludes Mohidheen. – TradeArabia News Service
