Kuwait Telecommunications Company – stc, a world-class digital leader providing innovative services and platforms to customers enabling the digital transformation in Kuwait, celebrated Eid Al-Adha by distributing gifts as surprises to the children undergoing inpatient medical treatments at Al-Amiri Hospital. The initiative was launched and organized under stc’s extensive corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, in collaboration with the team at Al-Amiri Hospital.
stc's Corporate Communications team visited the Children at Al-Amiri Hospital to surprise them with a range of gifts provided by the Company. An entertainment segment was also organized for the children that included the popular children’s character ‘Gergasha’. The purpose of the initiative was to uplift the children’s spirits as they seeked medical care, while bringing joy to their hearts in celebration of Eid Al-Adha.
Commenting on the initiative, Danah AlJasem, General Manager of Corporate Communications at stc said, “Our latest effort to support children aimed to spread joy and happiness during a joyful time such as Eid Al Adha. We are proud to have organized this initiative to support children seeking medical care and bring a smile to their faces on this special day. In recognition of the collaborative efforts, AlJasem thanked the team at Al-Amiri Hospital and stressed the importance of such initiatives that focus on supporting the children in the community.
