Youth-oriented Hindi language channel operator QYou Media has announced an expansion with One Plus smart TV systems via its Oxygen Play content discovery platform.
The partnership now means that its channel, The Q, is now available in over 125 million TV households and to over 680 million users via OTT, mobile and app based platforms. Along with QYou’s flagship channel The Q, One Plus users will also be able to watch new channels Q Marathi, Q Kahaniyan and Q Comedistaan.
One Plus is a major player in the Indian smart TV market, and is the fourth-largest smart TV manufacturer in the country ahead of Sony.
For QYou, this is the latest expansion of its footprint in India, with its channels now available across more than 70 smart TV brands including Samsung TV Plus, MiTV, TCL, Videocon, Haier, LLOYD, MarQ by Flipkart, Sansui, Hyundai, Daiwa and Croma.
