Indonesian mobile operator XL Axiata is teaming up with Juniper Networks to accelerate the pace of its 5G network and support the country’s drive towards a more inclusive ‘digital economy’.
In delivering its MX Series Universal Routing Platforms and SRv6 implementation solutions, the vendor noted the upgrades will serve as the backbone for all existing and new 5G services launched by XL. Juniper added that XL will utilise its Segment Routing over IPv6 (SRv6) and MX Series Universal Routing Platforms to enhance its existing network infrastructure and support the growing demand for 5G services in the country.
