Kuwait Telecommunications Company – stc, a world-class digital leader providing innovative services and platforms to customers, enabling the digital transformation in Kuwait, announced the launch of its talent academy called ‘IBDAA Academy’, in collaboration with the global management consulting firm, McKinsey & Company. In line with the strategic vision behind the academy, stc collaborated with SHL to provide real-time people insights to objectively identify high potential employees. The academy aims to upskill and reskill high-potential employees by fostering a highly encouraged learning environment that focuses on self-development
The programs offered at the academy are designed to mold HIPOs to take on more senior and strategic roles within the organization, and serve as mentors to other aspiring employees. Each program is carefully curated to focus on key subjects and skills that fall in line with stc’s corporate, providing development opportunities for HIPOs. Aside from educating employees, the academy will play a key role in increasing employee engagement and contributions, improving employee retention, and indirectly reducing the turnover of high-performing employees.
