The Orion Group of Companies in Russia has entered into an agreement with Okko, one of the country’s leading OTT platforms.
Under it, Orion will offer Telekarta satellite TV subscribers preferential access to more than 85,000 films and series from the Okko library, as well as bonuses for paying for additional satellite TV packages.
Commenting on the development, Elena Yachmennikova, development director of the Orion Group of Companies, said: “We consider our Telekarta + Okko proposal as the first step towards the development of satellite synergy and partner online projects. It is in bundles that one of the most promising areas of interaction between a Pay TV operator and a user is now seen”.
