stc sponsors “Al Hamra in Motion”

Kuwait Telecommunications Company – stc, a world-class digital leader providing innovative services and platforms to customers, announced its sponsorship and participation in the ‘Your Steps = Free Internet’ and ‘Al Hamra in Motion’ fitness challenge as part of its corporate social responsibility framework which focuses on taking action for a good cause . The events will take place at Al Hamra Tower from April 3rd to the 21st with several activities and challenges taking place, as well as prizes distributed to the winners.

Through its role as a main sponsor, stc will be distributing prizes to the winners of “Your Steps = Free Internet”, a daily 5,000 steps challenge held for 3 weeks in which participants reaching their goals, while using the Warba Bank App “Fayez”, will donate FREE internet subscriptions to over 100 families in need. The initiative, organized in partnership with the Tarahom Volunteer Team will provide participants with the opportunity to give back to the community through a small gesture, while also focusing on their own physical health. stc’s participation also further builds on the Company’s will to instill a sense of social responsibility amongst residents, especially the younger generation, as they embrace the values behind humanitarian initiatives and ways to effectively give back to the community.

stc will also be holding a weekly Q&A activity with prizes for participants in the walkathon, where the COFE App will be distributing vouchers and giveaways to the lucky winners. In addition, Maysam Qassem will also be participating in the event by hosting a painting class at the children’s corner that represents a key component of stc’s agenda for this month. stc aims to become a source of inspiration and encourage the youth to actively participate in fitness activities and adopt them into their lifestyles, while also embedding in them the true values of Ramadan.

As for the two-week challenge held in the outdoor area on the 3rd floor of Al Hamra, ‘Al Hamra in Motion’ features a number of fitness activities organized by Forma Fitness gym. There will be one winner declared everyday who will be receiving a valuable prize from stc. Those interested in participating in the exciting fitness challenges can do so by registering through the ‘Lets Burn’ app.
