Orange Poland says it has now installed fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) networks that pass 335,000 households under the government-subsidised Operational Programme Digital Poland (Programu Operacyjnego Polska Cyfrowa, POPC).
Telko.in reports that networks have been rolled out in more than 3,500 localities, with 21,000km of fibre-optic lines deployed. POPC, which is partly funded by the EU under its Digital Agenda initiatives, aims to improve connectivity in rural areas of Poland.
